This Is The United States

The United States is home to about 334 million people. English is the main language, but Spanish is widely spoken too. You’ll find all kinds of climates here, from snowy Alaska and the deserts of the Southwest to the sunny beaches of Florida and Hawaii, and the milder regions in between.

There’s so much to see and do. You can hike in Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon, wander through the streets and museums of New York City, relax on California’s beaches, or join in the excitement at a local festival or sports game. The food reflects the country’s diversity, everything from barbecue and burgers to regional specialties and international flavors. People from all backgrounds make the U.S. what it is, including Indigenous communities, African Americans, and people of European, Asian, and Latin American heritage. You’ll feel it in the music, from jazz and blues to country and rock, in the celebrations of Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July, in Native American powwows, and in local arts and crafts. Every place has its own personality and traditions that make visiting feel alive and personal.

Before traveling, it’s a good idea to check current travel advisories, visa requirements, local customs, and laws. You can usually find this information on official government travel sites, embassy pages, or other trusted sources.

This is your space to read and share reviews that guide and inspire. And while you’re here, support some amazing women bringing their travels right to our screens through vlogs.
