This is Thailand

Thailand has a population of about 70 million, with Thai as the official language. Its currency is the Thai Baht (THB), and the climate is tropical, with a hot season from March to May, a rainy monsoon season from June to October, and cooler, dry months from November to February.

Visitors come to Thailand for its warmth, beauty, and deep cultural spirit. You can explore Bangkok’s golden temples, floating markets, and street food stalls, visit Chiang Mai for mountain views, elephant sanctuaries, and artisan villages, or head south to the islands of Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Samui for turquoise waters and laid-back beaches. Ancient cities like Ayutthaya and Sukhothai reveal Thailand’s history through temple ruins and stone Buddhas surrounded by lotus ponds. Thai cuisine is bold and balanced, featuring dishes like pad thai, green curry, som tam, mango sticky rice, and tom yum soup, enjoyed everywhere from night markets to riverside cafés. The population is primarily Thai, and cultural life is shaped by Buddhist traditions, temple festivals, music, and dance that celebrate gratitude, respect, and the joy of community.

Before traveling, check current travel advisories, visa requirements, local customs, and laws to ensure a safe and respectful visit. Official government travel sites, embassies, or reliable international resources are the best references.
